Terms of Use

Last updated: July 15, 2026

These terms apply when you use the RxVue app or this website.

What RxVue does

RxVue uses a photo of a tablet or capsule to read its imprint code, shape and colour, and to suggest the medicine it most likely matches, along with details such as strength, drug class, common uses and warnings. It is a reference and identification tool.

An identification is not medical advice

RxVue results are informational. They do not diagnose, prescribe, or confirm that a medicine is appropriate or safe for you, and they are not a substitute for a qualified professional. Confirm any medicine with a licensed pharmacist or your doctor before you take, change or stop anything. In an emergency, or if someone may have swallowed something they should not have, contact your local emergency services or poison control centre rather than the app.

Subscriptions and payment

Premium features may require an in-app purchase or subscription. Purchases are billed by Apple through your App Store account and can be managed in your App Store settings.

RxVue gives an AI-assisted first read of a pill from its imprint, shape, and color, checked against public medicine labelling. It is an identification tool, not medical advice, and it does not diagnose or prescribe. A pharmacist or your doctor has the final word before you take, change, or stop anything.
