Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 15, 2026

This policy explains how RxVue and this website handle information. RxVue is a photo-based pill identification app, so the photos you take and app functionality data are central to how the service works. Health related information deserves a clear answer rather than a vague one, so this page is specific about what happens to a photo.

Photos you take

To identify a tablet or capsule, the app processes the photo you take or select. That photo is used to read the imprint code, shape and colour, and to return likely details such as the medication name, strength, drug class, common uses and warnings.

We do not sell your photos, and we do not use them to build a profile of you or of the medicines you look up.

Purchases, analytics, and diagnostics

App purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. The app may use analytics and diagnostics to measure product interaction, performance, and crashes so we can improve reliability.

RxVue gives an AI-assisted first read of a pill from its imprint, shape, and color, checked against public medicine labelling. It is an identification tool, not medical advice, and it does not diagnose or prescribe. A pharmacist or your doctor has the final word before you take, change, or stop anything.
